Battle Of The Alamo

1836

A chapel-fort the Alamo is located in San Antonio, Texas circa 1744. It was held by William Travis, Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie, and about 200 Texans against Santa Anna's siege of several thousand Mexicans under on Feburary 24 to March 6, 1836 during the Texas Revolution. While all defenders died, their historic stand to the last man rallied others who defeated the Mexicans six weeks later, crying Remember the Alamo!
